Phosphor converted amber LEDs and white LED

Philips Lumileds has announced the launch of its highly practical LUXEON Rebel phosphor-converted amber (PC Amber) LED. The new LUXEON Rebel meets the color stability and light output performance standards, and its light output is 2 to 5 times that of a typical amber LED, greatly reducing color conversion. When the drive current is 350mA, the LUXEON Rebel PC amber LED has an average luminous flux of 70lm.

For the problems faced by many car manufacturers, the new product's excellent performance can reduce the number of LEDs used, reduce the price per lumen and total system cost, and simplify the development of lighting solutions. LUXEON Rebel PC amber LEDs produce enough light to work at high temperatures, and new LEDs are available for yellow traffic lights, car lights, and entertainment applications.
